The house, built during the mid-1600s, is brimming with character and charm. Exposed oak beams, window seats, an inglenook fireplace, and flagged floors add to its appeal. A comfortable TV lounge with an open log fire creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The sitting room houses a wide variety of books and games, and guests are invited to play the piano and other musical instruments. Each cozy bedroom retains period features, is furnished with care, and includes a small en-suite.

Our spacious riverside garden is a sanctuary for wildlife, frequented by the vibrant kingfisher. Guests can enjoy private trout fishing, and children have access to a small play area equipped with a swing, trampoline, garden games, and boating (river conditions permitting).

From Monday to Thursday, we offer evening meals made with fresh local produce. Traditional favorites like Roast Beef and Yorkshires, along with Beryl's special bread and butter pudding, are sure to please. Start your day off right with our hearty full English breakfast. All meals are served around our large oak table, providing an opportunity to share the day's events with fellow guests.
