Located in a tranquil countryside setting, this 18th century former farmhouse offers a secluded retreat for up to 6 adults. Situated just 12 km from Pompadour, in the beautiful Vézère valley and on the doorstep of the Limousin, Périgord, and Quercy regions, this independent property is surrounded by rolling meadows and woodland. Accessible via a small dead-end road, it is conveniently located just 200m from a cow farm and the owners' house. The farmhouse boasts a sunny aspect and features a spacious garden (2000 m2) enclosed by sheep wire net and wood bars. The accommodation, all on one level and spanning a total living area of 115 m2, comprises a charming living room (38 m2) with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings, a double sofa bed, and a traditional fireplace known as a "cantou". There is also a comfortable double bedroom (14 m2) with two 80cm beds, a well-equipped kitchen and dining area (27 m2), another double bedroom (13 m2) with a 140cm bed, a further double bedroom (10 m2) with two 80cm beds, a bathroom with a bath and basin, a shower room with a shower and basin, a corridor, and a separate toilet.

Directions

To reach the Gîte from Paris, take the A20 highway heading towards Toulouse. Exit at number 45 for TULLE - VIGEOIS. From there, follow road D3 towards VIGEOIS, following the signs for the tourist road known as the "circuit de la vallée de la Vézère". Continue on D3 for approximately 8 kilometers in the direction of OBJAT. Look for the hamlet called "LES FOMBIARDES" and once there, take a right onto the road marked "LES CHAISES BASSES" after 500 meters. The Gîte will be located another 500 meters ahead on the left side.
