The Manoir de Malagorse is located in the picturesque countryside of the Lot, just outside the small village of Rignac. Within a 10-minute drive, you'll find the charming medieval village of Martel, which offers a delightful selection of restaurants and shops. The Manoir's location is ideal for exploring both the Dordogne Valley (including Sarlat, Domme, Manoir de Eyrignac, and Chateau de Beynac) and the historic sites of the Lot (such as Rocamadour, Gouffre de Padirac, and Carennac).

The Manoir itself is filled with natural light and furnished with unique pieces that Anna and Abel have discovered at local Brocante markets. The heart of the house is the kitchen, featuring a handmade, immense cooking range and a large farmhouse table that is perfect for hosting memorable evenings indoors when the weather doesn't allow for outdoor dining.

Breakfast at the Manoir is a sumptuous affair, featuring fresh juice, fruit, homemade yogurts and musli, freshly baked croissants and brioche, homemade jams, and aromatic coffees and teas. Dinner is a four-course meal served in the courtyard if the weather permits. Anna takes pride in creating delightful table settings, with crisp antique linen, fresh flowers, and plenty of candles. Abel focuses on using the freshest produce and light, aromatic flavors with a hint of Provence.

The Manoir offers a choice of five individually designed bedrooms, each thoughtfully decorated with sumptuous French fabrics and locally sourced furnishings. The rooms vary in size and character but all provide the comforts of home, including fresh garden flowers, crisp white bed linen, fluffy bathrobes, and luxurious toiletries from Coté Bastide.

In addition to the main house, there is also a separate building called Four à Pain (The Bakery), which was the original bakery for the domaine. It retains many original features, including a huge vaulted oven. The surrounding area of the Manoir spans 3 hectares of peaceful countryside with stunning views. There is a swimming pool located in a large meadow, surrounded by comfortable teak sunbeds. An elevated terrace with cozy teak furniture is the perfect spot for afternoon tea or an early aperitif.

There are plenty of sporting activities available nearby, such as canoeing down the Dordogne River and exploring historic sites and beautiful scenery. For food enthusiasts, Anna and Abel can arrange a gourmet picnic. The region also offers a wealth of historical sites and areas of natural beauty to explore, including popular chateaus, prehistoric caves, medieval towns, and picturesque villages. Garden enthusiasts will appreciate the variety of stunning gardens to visit in the area. Wine lovers can seek advice from Abel on which vineyards to visit in Cahor or even arrange a private tour. For families, there are options like the animal park at Gramat or the prehistoric park in Rocamadour. Inés and Louis, who have tried them all, are available to provide recommendations and guidance.

Welcome to Le Loft de Malagorse, a newly renovated barn located in the charming courtyard of Malagorse. This spacious 110m2 loft offers a comfortable and stylish retreat for your stay.

On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy dining space, perfect for preparing and enjoying meals. Step outside onto your private terrace and immerse yourself in the beautiful garden surroundings.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms to accommodate your needs. One bedroom features a luxurious rolltop bath and a walk-in shower, while the other offers a spacious walk-in shower. Both bedrooms are designed with your comfort in mind.

The loft also boasts a large open plan living area, where you can relax and unwind after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. Immerse yourself in the natural light that fills the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

To start your day off right, we provide a delightful touch by delivering fresh bread and croissants to your doorstep each morning. If you prefer, you also have the option to enjoy breakfast at the nearby Manoir for an additional cost.

For your convenience, daily cleaning is included during your stay, ensuring a tidy and comfortable environment throughout.
