Description:

Description for B&B:

I am a 270-year-old lady who was renovated in 2016/17 to provide all the necessary comforts. Located in a peaceful and green environment, I offer a haven of tranquility where your children and pets can play freely without worrying about grumpy neighbors or the proximity of a busy road. Despite this peaceful setting, you won't feel isolated as I am situated in a small village with a bakery/pastry shop, small grocery store, and a café-restaurant. If you need to do more extensive shopping, there are supermarkets in Corlay (4.5kms away), Saint-Nicolas du Pélem (9kms away), Rostrenen, and Pontivy. Furthermore, I am only 40 minutes away from the beautiful bay of Saint-Brieuc and its beach.

Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, there are plenty of scenic walks to enjoy in the area. Additionally, there are many attractions to visit, such as Lake Guerlédan (15 minutes away) and its forest, as well as the Armorique Regional Park among others.

Inside the house, you will find a spacious living room and lounge area measuring 50m2 on the ground floor, complete with a sofa bed. The American kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, and there is a salamander fireplace to keep you warm during chilly evenings (firewood is provided). The ground floor also includes a bathroom/laundry room and a toilet.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom features a 160x200 bed and a child bed measuring 70x145. The second bedroom includes a 140x190 bed and a 90x190 bed, as well as an alcove with a single bed. There is also a shower and toilet on this floor. The house underwent a complete renovation in 2016 and offers all the necessary comforts for a delightful holiday. You can even listen to your favorite 33 rpm records on the stereo system. Additionally, there is a vertical barbeque/rotisserie for your grilling pleasure (good for your health).

Please note that this house has a septic tank, which is common in rural areas. Therefore, it is important to take precautions and avoid using any chemicals (such as bleach) that could harm the flora. Only use products that are compatible with septic tanks and do not throw anything in the toilet (cleaning products are provided).

For the safety of your children, the staircase is secured both upstairs and downstairs. The garden also offers additional entertainment options, including a badminton set, a table football, and a swing.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a charming young woman who will inspect the premises and can assist with cleaning if you prefer not to handle it yourself (at a rate of 15 per hour). The full deposit will be refunded upon your departure if everything is in order.
