Located in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, "Le Bas des Vignes" offers a peaceful and lush retreat. Our farmhouse, which reflects the typical architecture of the 19th century Marais region, provides a charming and authentic experience.Unwind by our pool, where you can relax and rejuvenate. Situated in South Vendée, we are just 12 km south of Fontenay-le-Comte, the capital of Lower Poitou. Additionally, we are within a short distance of La Rochelle, Ile de Re, the Atlantic Ocean beaches, Green Venice and its canals, Massif Forestier Mervent, and the Grand Parc Puy du Fou with its famous cinéscénie.
Upon your arrival, Christine, Claude, and their friendly animals will warmly welcome you. Experience the beauty of the Marais Poitevin with a quad horse-drawn carriage ride or a boat trip on the Sevre Niortaise guided by Claude.
Cyclists and hikers are also welcome to explore the surrounding area. Our upstairs rooms are equipped with comfortable 160x200 beds, private shower rooms, and toilets. The family room "La Mer" can accommodate an additional bed, while the room "The Sun" can transform into a master suite. We provide free baby furniture, refrigerators, and bicycles for your convenience.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast on our sunny terrace, featuring homemade jams, cakes, and locally produced honey from the South Vendee region.
During your stay, take advantage of our beautiful environment, including the swimming pool, garden furniture, deckchairs, and pond. Our nightly rate for two people, including breakfast, is 50 euros for a minimum stay of two nights. For single-night stays, the rate is 55 euros for two people, including breakfast.
