Description for B&B:

The island of Désirade, located off Guadeloupe, can be reached by boat in approximately 30 minutes from St. Francis. The Blue House is situated in Baie-Mahault, the last village before the boat port, which is 7 km away from the town. The island spans 12 km in length and 2 km in width, with only one road on the mountain side gently sloping towards the sea, while the other side is steep. Désirade is a peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the world, boasting breathtaking beauty and friendly locals. The constant trade winds bring a refreshing breeze to the island and provide a cool atmosphere in the house. The house is surrounded by a fully blooming garden and is securely enclosed. It is located 400 m from the beach, which is bordered by a coral reef extending 300 m into the sea. The water near the shore is sandy, creating a serene and tranquil swimming area of approximately 15,000 m2. The beach is shaded by coconut palms, the sand is golden, the wind is pleasant, the sun is just right, and the temperature is comfortably warm, providing a sense of overall well-being.
