Welcome to our guest house for rent in Charente Maritime, located near the beautiful coastal city of La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast.

Our independent guesthouse offers a high level of comfort and is situated inside a closed property with plenty of trees and a spacious swimming pool. It is perfect for a group of four people, with a total area of 60 sqm.

The large, well-exposed living room includes a cozy lounge area with a TV and a fireplace, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The living room opens onto a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool, complete with comfortable armchairs for sunbathing.

The guesthouse features two bedrooms, one with a 140cm bed and the other with two 90cm beds, as well as a bathroom and toilet facilities.

Located in the small village of Poléon, which is part of the de Saint Georges du Bois commune, our guesthouse is conveniently close to Surgères, where you can find a TGV train station and all necessary amenities. The popular tourist destinations of Paris, La Rochelle, and Rochefort are also easily accessible, being 400km, 25km, and 30km away respectively.

Poléon is situated on the border of the renowned "Green Venise" region, a picturesque part of the Marais-Poitevin. Additionally, the charming Island of Ré is just a 30-minute drive away, with its local harbor and beautiful sandy beaches.

During your stay, you can enjoy a range of activities both on-site and in the surrounding area. On-site, take a dip in our 12m x 6m swimming pool, play ping-pong, or enjoy a game of 'pétanque'. You can also explore the Aunis county on foot or by bicycle, and there are tennis and horse riding facilities available nearby in Saint Georges du Bois.

In the neighborhood, you can visit the famous "Venise Verte" and enjoy boat trips, canoeing, or cycling. The nearby beaches offer a variety of activities such as sailing, surfing, and funboarding. Other attractions include bowling, fishing, karting, and an 18-hole golf course.

For day trips, you can explore the islands by car, such as Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron, or take a boat to Île d'Aix and visit the iconic Fort Boyard. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the historic cities of La Rochelle, with its old town and picturesque harbor, or Rochefort, home to la Corderie Royale and the Hermione construction site. Chatelaillon offers a beautiful beach, an aquatic center, and a casino. The Aunis and Saintonge counties also offer numerous historical and cultural sites to explore.
