Le Détour is a charming Bed and Breakfast Inn situated in Buffard, in the heart of the Doubs region in Franche-Comté. The guest rooms are located in a historic outbuilding dating back to the 17th Century. This delightful property offers the perfect retreat in an enchanting environment, with a wide range of cultural and sporty activities to enjoy.Le Détour has been recognized with the prestigious three corn ear distinction by Gite de France, and is also a fishing gite. The accommodations feature five spacious and tastefully decorated guest rooms, each with its own private bathroom. One of the rooms is specially designed to be accessible for disabled people.
Guests at Le Détour can start their day with a scrumptious breakfast, included in the price. In the summer, breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the park, overlooking the field with the donkeys. Indulge in our home-made ham, village honey, and Comté cheese while planning your day in peace and quiet.
There are plenty of activities to choose from in the area, such as visiting the Arc-et-Senans Royal Saltworks just 5km away, or enjoying a fishing session with a delicious picnic on the banks of the Loue river. For the more adventurous, exploring the area on a mountain bike or in a canoe is also an option. Additionally, themed visits can be arranged for those seeking a unique experience.
After a day of exploration, guests can unwind in the park or on the terrace before heading out to taste the delectable Franche-comté country cuisine at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Directions to reach "Le Détour" in Buffard from Besançon:
If you are coming from Besançon, follow the directions to Lons-le-Saunier and take the RN83. After traveling 20 km from Besançon, you will come across a three-way section. At this point, leave the RN83 and take the road to Quingey. Upon reaching the public square in Quingey, make a right turn, then a left turn in front of the bar. Follow the signs for Lombard-Liesle-Arc et Senans. Pass through Lombard and continue for 500m until you reach Liesle. Then, turn left to reach Buffard.
If you have missed Quingey:
If you have missed the turn to Quingey, continue following the road to Lons-le-Saunier. About 1 km before reaching Mouchard, make a right turn to Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue river and turn right to reach Buffard.
If you are coming from Dijon or Dole on the A39:
Follow the directions for Geneva/Dole Choisey. Take the exit at Dole Choisey. At the first roundabout, take the right turn towards Geneva and Lons-le-Saunier. At the second roundabout, take the left turn towards Geneva and Pontarlier. Continue following the signs for Pontarlier until you reach Mouchard, without entering the town. Then, at Mouchard, follow the RN83 towards Besançon. After 1 km, turn left to Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue river and turn right to reach Buffard.

Follow the directions for Geneva and Pontarlier. At Mouchard, follow the RN83 towards Besançon. After 1 km, turn left to Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue river and turn right to reach Buffard.

After passing the billboards for Poligny and Arbois, exit the A39 towards Pontarlier and Poligny. On the RN83, follow the directions for Besançon. Pass through Poligny and Arbois, and continue straight until you reach Mouchard. After 1 km, turn left to Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue river and turn right to reach Buffard.
If you are coming from Lons-le-Saunier on the RN83:
Follow the RN83 towards Besançon. Pass through Poligny and Arbois until you reach Mouchard. Stay on the RN83 and after 1 km, turn left to Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue river and turn right to reach Buffard.
