The farmhouse, originally built in 1838, has been transformed into a charming Bed & Breakfast featuring 5 cozy rooms. Adjacent to the farmhouse is the Blue Lagoon recreation building, offering a variety of activities such as sports, games, art, and workshops. It is also available for hosting weddings, festivities, and renting as a reception room. Additionally, we have set up a mini camping area in the meadow.Each of our 5 bedrooms is equipped with a private bathroom and separate toilet. These rooms create a Small World of their own, as each one is named after a place around the world that holds beautiful and sweet memories. All rooms provide a view of the garden and the mountains beyond. We offer 5 double rooms for our guests.
PtitMonde enjoys a fantastic location near the Col de Bonhomme, the Hohneck, and the lakes of Xonrupt Longemer and Gérardmer. From our terrace, you can even catch a glimpse of the Route de Crêtes. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast seeking tranquility or a motorcycle enthusiast, our B&B is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Our beautifully landscaped sunny garden offers various spots for relaxation, including by the pond, in a hammock, on the grass, or in one of our shaded sitting areas. For more recreational options such as ping-pong, table football, music, or exploring our mini flea market, the Blue Lagoon is the place to be.
During the winter season, PtitMonde warmly welcomes guests who enjoy skiing. The nearby ski resorts of La Bresse, Gérardmer, and Lac Blanc are easily accessible. Additionally, right next to our property, you can follow a stunning trail for snowshoeing. After an adventurous day, you can unwind by the fireplace in our central living room, accompanied by comforting glühwein and hot cocoa.
At PtitMonde, food is an integral part of the experience. We take pride in preparing all of our meals with fresh ingredients. Our dishes reflect the flavors and culinary delights we have encountered during our travels around the world. Embark on a culinary journey with our three-course dinner that takes you on a global exploration.
Start each morning with our generous buffet breakfast, and surprise yourself with a delightful PtitMonde lunch. In the evening, indulge in our three-course dinner featuring a variety of flavors from France to Russia, Spain to Indonesia, Italy to Africa. Every meal is thoughtfully crafted using fresh produce, with many ingredients coming from our own vegetable garden. We also cater to vegetarian diets.
Coffee enthusiasts will appreciate our luxury coffee bean espresso machine, which offers a range of options from ristrettos to latte macchiatos. Tea lovers can enjoy our extensive selection of (herbal) teas, including our homemade herbal mixes. For guests with dietary restrictions, we can accommodate gluten allergies or follow the "The Food Hourglass" diet by Chris Verburgh upon request.
For lunch, we offer convenient lunchboxes filled with fruits, snacks, soft drinks, and sandwiches made with French or homemade bread. Alternatively, you can enjoy a warm or cold meal in our dining room, along with fresh smoothies, wholesome cakes, salads, deluxe sandwiches, and homemade soup.
Our buffet breakfast includes homemade bread, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, croissants, chocolate bread, brioche, or fresh French bread from the local bakery. We also provide cottage cheese, muesli, tea/coffee, freshly squeezed fruit juices, homemade jams, honey, butter, cheese, and cold meats. Coffee and tea are available throughout your stay.
The entire Bed and Breakfast is equipped with central heating, ensuring a comfortable stay regardless of the season. PtitMonde welcomes guests year-round.
Description for Gite
Our gîte, "Grand Voyage," offers a spacious and fully equipped accommodation for up to 6 people. The gîte features an open kitchen and living room, along with three comfortable bedrooms, each suitable for two people.The kitchen and living room area measures 33 square meters, while the bedrooms are sized at 21, 20, and 16 square meters respectively. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet facilities for added convenience.
In terms of amenities, the gîte provides a 4-burner electric plate, oven, and microwave for all your cooking needs. Additionally, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, kettle, and coffee maker are also provided. You can stay connected with our complimentary WIFI service.
The gîte is available for rental starting from a minimum of 4 days. Please note that the accommodation is only open to guests aged 16 years and older.
Located within the same building as the chambre d'hôtes, gîte residents have access to all the facilities offered to chambre d'hôtes guests. These include a TV room, information corner, garden, recreation room with amenities such as a piano and table tennis table, as well as a washing machine and minibar. You can also opt to enjoy our breakfast buffet or join us for a cozy evening at the table d'hôtes.
The gîte is priced at 175 euros per day, and this rate includes cleaning costs, bed linen and towels, electricity and heating charges, as well as tourist taxes. Please note that the tourist tax of 0.50 euros per person per night is not included in the price.
From October 1 to May 1, there is an additional charge of 15 euros per day to cover heating costs.

Start your journey from Luxembourg and head towards Metz and Nancy. Then, continue in the direction of Strasbourg and Colmar.
Before reaching Colmar, which is approximately 40km away, you will pass Saint Dié. At this point, take the Gerardmer exit.
After driving for about 15 km, you will come across a roundabout in Anould. Follow the sign for Fraize at this roundabout.
- After passing the roundabout, take the second street on your right (approximately 500 m after the roundabout), marked with the PtitMondeOnline logo.
- Stay on Rue Jeanne d'Arc, which is a long and winding road. Keep to the left.
- After about 1 km, take the first left turn.
- Continue on this road for about 2.5 km until you reach a T-junction. At the junction, turn right following the sign for PtitMonde.
- After 200 m, you will arrive at your destination: PtitMonde. Follow the signs to the parking area and check in at the entrance.
- Loading and unloading can be done at the entrance.
