Description for B&B:
This art deco style villa, rich in history, was designed by the renowned architect George Letélié (Prix de Rome) and brought to life by Pierre Grizet, the city architect of La Rochelle in the 1950s. Grizet, with his extensive portfolio of works in the city, contributed greatly to the realization of this magnificent villa.Recently renovated in early 2016, the villa has been meticulously restored while preserving its original charm. The unique features have been carefully integrated into a modern and exotic setting adorned with an array of tropical plants.
Villa Verde is conveniently situated near the heart of the old city, including popular attractions such as Place de Verdun, Vieux Port, and Competition Beach. Despite its close proximity to the bustling center, the villa offers a tranquil oasis in its own little garden, providing a haven of peace and relaxation. Every element has been carefully designed to ensure a successful and enjoyable stay.
As a Franco-Brazilian couple, we take great joy in welcoming guests to our guest house, perfectly situated to make the most of your time in La Rochelle.
Our ultimate goal is to provide a serene and welcoming environment where you will quickly feel at home.
