From the village church to the monument honoring soldiers of past wars, every corner offers a glimpse into the history of the area. The wooden staircase leads to the attic, where two bedrooms can be found, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom and toilet are located on the main floor.

Description for Gite
This charming house, with its beautiful slate roof, is the perfect retreat for those seeking a rustic atmosphere adorned with "raw wood and animal skins". The owner has curated a collection of antique decor, including old boxing gloves, squash racquets, and even a transistor radio, which hang as proud trophies on the walls. While the house boasts modern comforts, they are discreetly incorporated, such as a pellet stove nestled between the hutch and buffet, a hidden TV screen within a cabinet joinery, and a cozy couch. The kitchen, although quaint, features an open counter that leads to the dining room, albeit lacking a dishwasher. Ascending the wooden staircase leads to the attic, where the sleeping area is located, consisting of two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom and toilet are conveniently situated upstairs. To bask in the sunlight, you can enjoy breakfast on the deck or the balcony, while admiring the picturesque and rural heritage of Vernet Sainte Marguerite. From the balcony, your gaze will sweep across the village, capturing sights such as the church, the square with its monument to the soldiers of past wars, the town hall, the fountain, and the washhouse (where you may still spot some women doing laundry). In the distance, the puy Allou stands tall, completing the idyllic panorama.Reviews
