Description:

Description for B&B:

Experience the enchanting allure of our family-owned establishment, radiating with its own unique charm. Allow us to guide you through the vast expanse of our magnificent building, showcasing its exceptional architecture and the captivating allure of its adjoining horseshoe and model farm, dating back to the late 19th century.

Our patio holds a remarkable historical significance, as it witnessed the momentous meeting between King George V, President Poincaré, Joffre, and Foch General during the preparations for the cons-offensive of the Battle of the Somme. It was also the chosen headquarters of Sir Douglas Haig in August 1916, leading to the pivotal signing of the sole command of Doullens.

We offer a spacious and completely renovated room of 28m² on the first floor of our house, accommodating 2 or 3 people comfortably. The room features an ensuite bathroom with a private shower and separate toilet. Additionally, it is equipped with modern amenities including bedding, TV, WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and a dining area. Bed linen and towels are provided, and an extra bed can be arranged upon request.

You will enjoy a separate entrance, ensuring a tranquil and delightful stay with a beautiful view. Indulge in a complimentary breakfast served on the terrace, weather permitting, or in the owners' dining room (only on weekends), or even in the comfort of your own room if you prefer.

Please note that the establishment does not permit smoking. The nightly rates are as follows: $55 for one person, $60 for two people, and $70 for three people. A 10% discount is available for stays of three nights or more.

If you would like to see photos of our accommodations, please feel free to request them. For initial inquiries and reservations, please contact us via email.

Directions

To reach your destination in Beauquesne, follow these travel directions: When in Beauquesne, head towards Raincheval on the D31. Once you are out of the village, drive approximately 1km and you will come across a path on the right. Look for a sign indicating "orchards of Valvion". Take this path and continue until you reach a road. Turn left onto this road and you will find yourself in the courtyard of a large house.

If you are coming from Amiens via the D31, keep driving straight when you reach Puchevillers. Do not take the direction towards Beauquesne. After approximately 2km, exit the village and then make a left turn. Drive for another 300m and you will see a road on your left. Look for the sign that says "orchards of Valvion". The house is located at the end of this road. Once you arrive, enter the courtyard of the big house.
