Welcome to this charming, historic country house, built in 1750 just before the Revolution. Paula and Mike are excited to have you as their guests.

Nestled in peaceful, picturesque countryside with breathtaking views, this house has been in our family for generations. It is a spacious and tranquil retreat, offering utmost comfort.

The gardens surrounding the house are beautifully landscaped, with a touch of wilderness and an array of unique trees. There is ample parking and garaging available.

Start your day with a generous continental breakfast served in a beautifully adorned salon, featuring exposed beams and French doors that open onto the gardens. If desired, a delightful four-course evening meal can be arranged with advance notice.

Conveniently located near the borders of Dordogne and Lot, and just thirty minutes from Brive la Gaillarde and an hour from Limoges, our house is easily accessible from the A20 and A89 autoroutes. It serves as an ideal stopover for those traveling further south or as a perfect base for exploring the stunning Correze, Lot, and Dordogne regions.

Please note that our house is not suitable for infants or young children.

During your stay, you will have access to a spacious and elegant south-facing salon on the ground floor, with French windows opening onto the gardens.

Conveniently located just a six-hour drive south of Calais, Le Chateau is a mere 30 minutes away from the town of Brive la Gaillarde, known as the gateway to the South of France. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the Correze, Lot, and Dordogne regions, where you can discover and admire the many chateaux with their stunning gardens open to the public. Nearby, you'll find superb lakes with sandy beaches for swimming, as well as opportunities for fishing, canoeing, sailing, and water skiing.

Parking is never an issue at Le Chateau, with ample space available on the circular driveway in front of the property or in the barn.
