Located in the charming hamlet of Les Chatres, near Cheniers (Creuse) and Aigurande (Indre), our accommodations offer a cozy double room for two adults and one small child. The room includes a private en suite shower room and toilet, with the option to request a cot, high chair, and baby bath. Guests can enjoy tea and coffee making facilities in the room, as well as a private lounge with a television, WiFi, and DVD player. Weather permitting, there is a lovely patio/terrace area for outdoor dining. We also provide two adult bicycles for guests to use during their stay.

For an additional fee of 17.50 euros per person, including wine, guests can request an evening meal. We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs if notified in advance. Nearby attractions include Bourg dhem, just a 15-minute drive away, offering a sandy beach, pedalos, and a bar/restaurant. The Tuilerie de Pouligny is only 5 minutes away and features a museum and an opportunity to create your own pottery.

Nature enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy with bird watching, cycling, walking, and fishing opportunities, as our accommodations are situated near the La Creue and La Petite Creuse rivers.

For those traveling from afar, our chambre dhotes is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Limoges airport and about 200 miles south of Paris. The journey from Calais typically takes about 6-7 hours by car. There are also convenient direct rail connections from Paris/Lille to Chateauroux and La Souterraine. La Creuse is conveniently located in the center of France, making it an ideal stopover point for those traveling to southern France or beyond.
