Description for B&B:

Originally constructed in the 19th century, this farm thrived as a reputable breeding ground for successful horses and foals until the early 1970s. It served as the focal point of a prominent equine business, accommodating the residences of numerous workers. Today, three of these houses have transformed into breeding facilities, affectionately named "Estuary," "Médoquine," and "Gironde." In order to preserve its authentic allure and rustic charm, this grand historic edifice underwent extensive renovation. Nestled on 13 acres of picturesque meadows at the outskirts of town, you will immediately reconnect with the tranquility of nature upon arrival. Our idyllic lifestyle and fertile land have enticed countless visitors, and we cordially invite you to experience it for yourself.

Our establishment boasts three guest houses and two splendid rooms, accommodating up to 25 people, making it the perfect choice for a family getaway or a gathering of friends. Situated merely 8 kilometers away from our breathtaking beaches and a mere 3 kilometers from the estuary, we find ourselves at the heart of the renowned northern Médoc region, aptly referred to as the "Petite Camargue." As you stroll through our expansive meadows, you will encounter our lively donkeys, adorable pygmy goats, delightful ponies, and an assortment of other charming farm animals, all freely frolicking in their natural habitat.

Discover the joyous essence of our surroundings - happiness awaits you here!

Appréciations pour Ferme du Marais, Saint Vivien de Médoc:

Ferme du Marais - gite Margaux
Review by: Georges B., Mai 11 2016 4:22PM
Super gîte: propreté, déco, tout équipé même les allumettes pour le barbecue; très spacieux même à 10 personnes; les enfants ont appréciés les animaux. Sans oublier la gentillesse des propriétaires. Bravo
