Located just 9 kilometers from Sarlat, this peaceful haven is a must-visit destination. Situated halfway between Sarlat and Montignac-Lascaux, this stunning authentic house from the XVIIIth century is surrounded by a vast 3-hectare park and features a large salt water swimming pool measuring 14x7 meters.Our charming bedrooms, all with a southern exposure, are individually decorated and offer separate entrances, private bathrooms with either a shower or bath, and toilets. Each room opens onto the garden, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Breakfast is served in either the dining room or the garden under the orchard, depending on the season. We provide a variety of homemade jams, freshly baked bread, and a selection of fruit salad or cakes to start your day. In this tranquil setting, the only sound that will awaken you in the morning is the sweet melody of birdsong.
For those who wish to dine on-site, we offer traditional local cuisine upon reservation. Indulge in dishes such as foie gras, duck, ceps, and cabecou, all prepared in the comfort of our home.
From our holiday rentals, you can easily reach the most breathtaking sites of the Périgord Noir region, including Sarlat, Lascaux, les Eyzies, and the Dordogne valley, all within a 20-minute drive. If you're willing to venture a bit further, you can explore Padirac, Rocamadour, Bergerac and Cahors vineyards, Périgueux, and Collonges la Rouge.
Adjacent to the garden, there are hiking trails ranging from 20 minutes to 5 hours in duration. The more adventurous guests can even embark on a 3-hour walk to the beautiful gardens of the manor of Eyrignac.

Don't miss out on this peaceful haven, located just 9 km from Sarlat!Thomas Barn is nestled in the stunning landscaped park of "Granges Hautes" and offers a tranquil retreat. Facing south, it consists of two separate two-level holiday cottages, each measuring 50 m2 and accommodating 2 or 3 people.
The ground floor of each cottage features a living room with independent access, including a comfortable seating and dining area with a television. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern amenities such as a dishwasher, combined oven, refrigerator, ceramic stove tops, and a washing machine. Independent toilets are also conveniently provided on this level.
Upstairs, you will find a cozy sleeping room with a double bed (160 cm wide) in each cottage, with one of them additionally offering a single bed (90 cm wide). A bathroom completes the first floor.
Surrounded by the park, each cottage has its own private garden with garden furniture, as well as access to the shared pool. For nature enthusiasts, there are hiking trails starting right at the edge of the garden, ranging from 20 minutes to 5 hours in duration. The more adventurous can even embark on a 3-hour walk to the stunning gardens of the Eyrignac Manor.
Located in the heart of Périgord Noir, Thomas Barn offers easy access to the main attractions in the area. Within a 20-minute drive, you can reach at least 80% of the major sites, including Sarlat, Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Les Eyzies, Montignac et Lascaux, The Eyrignac Gardens, and The Dordogne and Vézère valleys. Un très beau séjour chez Anouk et Gilles: la qualité de leur accueil nous a profondément touchés.
Le cadre est magnifique, extérieur comme intérieur, amoureusement entretenu; une cuisine de très grande qualité et des petites attentions émouvantes, sans compter les conseils judicieux pour les visites touristiques.

If you are coming from Sarlat, continue towards "Brive La Gaillarde" until you reach "Saint Crépin et Carlucet." When you see the sign for the beginning of the village, proceed straight ahead for approximately 200 meters. Ignore the second sign on your right for "Saint Crépin." You will then arrive at the village center, with the school on your left and the town hall on your right. The entrance to "Les Granges Hautes" is located on your right, directly in front of the town hall. Look for the signboard. The house is about 100 meters away.
If you are coming from the A20 motorway, take the "Brive la gaillarde" exit if you are coming from the north, or the "Souillac" exit if you are coming from the south. Follow the directions towards Sarlat or Salignac. In Salignac, continue on the road towards Sarlat for approximately 4 kilometers. When you reach "Saint Crépin et Carlucet," continue straight ahead for about 100 meters before turning left onto the road leading to "Les Granges Hautes." The road begins just in front of the town hall, near the school. The house is approximately 100 meters away.
