Originally constructed in 1680, this farmhouse offers a unique experience in catered chalet accommodation. La Ferme du Chateau combines the charm of traditional design with the comforts of modern living. Located in the heart of the picturesque farming village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, it provides convenient access to various activities, as well as bars, shops, and restaurants.

Our 5-star quality accommodation is surprisingly affordable. La Ferme du Chateau boasts six ensuite bedrooms that can be configured as twin or king-size double rooms. Most rooms can even accommodate additional beds without sacrificing comfort, accommodating a maximum of 18 guests. Each bedroom is furnished to a high standard, featuring 5-star hotel quality beds, Egyptian cotton linen, luxury toiletries, fluffy dressing gowns, hairdryers, and iPod docking stations. Guests also have access to a south-facing balcony, with one bedroom having its own private balcony. Additionally, a sunken hot tub on the lower balcony provides the perfect way to unwind after a day of activities.

The living and dining area is exceptionally spacious, featuring a central wood-clad open fire. With six large sofas, a TV area on the minstrel gallery, a cozy reading snug, a dining area, and a separate south-facing balcony, there is ample room to relax and enjoy a pre-dinner drink.

At La Ferme du Chateau, we take pride in offering excellent food and wine. In the winter, we provide a cooked English breakfast and afternoon tea daily, along with a four-course evening meal accompanied by wine on six nights. On one evening, we encourage guests to explore the local restaurants. Additionally, we offer an option for an early children's supper.

Our top-notch service sets us apart as an owner-run chalet. From the moment you arrive at Geneva, we take care of all the details for you. Ski hire will be ready upon your arrival, ski passes and refreshments will be waiting at the chalet, and we provide daily transportation to and from the slopes. We can also arrange trips to various après-ski bars, organize visits to the thermal center, and arrange ski lessons, among other services.

We offer flexibility in terms of availability and packages. During the winter, the farmhouse is available for catered holidays and breaks of three or more days. In the summer, we offer self-catered, bed and breakfast, and half-board options, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and a three-course evening meal with wine.

La Ferme du Chateau is also an ideal venue for special events such as weddings, milestone birthdays, and corporate gatherings. We can cater to management training courses, senior management meetings, and team-building exercises.
