Explore the region with the help of our tourist map and insider recommendations.For outdoor enthusiasts, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Go fishing in the Saône and Grosne rivers, the Grison, the Seille, or various ponds. Take a refreshing swim at the nearby Lakes LAIVES, just 8 minutes from the cottage, where you can also enjoy beach activities, paddle boats, and games. Embark on one of the 33 hiking trails and explore the beautiful GROSNE and SAONE areas between the GR 76 and the Paths Moines. For a leisurely stroll, discover the bucolic GREENWAY lined with castles, forests, and groves, or follow the ROUTE BLUE along the Saône, reserved for walkers, mountain bikers, and skaters.
Immerse yourself in the region's history and culture with visits to castles, Romanesque churches, abbeys, and small villages with traditional Burgundian wash houses, fountains, and water mills. Take a boat ride along the Saone and SEILLE rivers, or explore the local markets, flea markets, and restaurants offering delicious Burgundian specialties. Back at the cottage, enjoy the convenience of ready-to-use ATV bikes for exploring the small forest roads. Our property also offers a society library, games, and tourist documentation for your convenience. Take a stroll through our fruit orchard and indulge in the tranquility of nature.
Inside the cottage, you'll find a large and bright living room with a large screen TV, TNT, and WIFI, as well as a comfortable corner sofa and a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities. The bathroom features a shower, heated towel rail, and a hairdryer, while a separate toilet adds convenience. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable bed for two, and one of the bedrooms also includes an additional single bed. An additional toilet with a washbasin is also available. If needed, a cot can be provided upon request.

To reach the SENNECEY cottage in LE GRAND (Saone et Loire), it is a 15-minute car ride from CHALON-SUR-SAONE, 8 minutes from Tournus (via A6 motorway exits, Chalon Sud and Tournus). It takes approximately 30 minutes from Macon, 1 hour from Lyon, and 3 and a half hours from Paris.
