Berville sur Mer is nestled within the Natural Park of Brotonne, encompassing the Forest of Brotonne. Directions
To reach Ferme du Chalet from various ports, follow these directions:
- From Calais (2.5 hrs), Boulogne (2hrs), Dieppe (75 mins), or Le Havre (20 mins), head towards the motorways that lead to the A29 motorway, which will take you to the Pont de Normandie. It is recommended to buy your return ticket for the bridge toll (5€) at this point. Once you have crossed the bridge, immediately exit the motorway. Ferme du Chalet is just a 10-minute drive from the bridge toll booth.
- From Caen, Cherbourg, St Malo, and Roscoff: For these ports, take the last exit off the motorway before crossing the Pont de Normandie. The exit is very late, and the bridge will be towering over you as you leave. Head towards the Pont de Normandie, but do not cross it.
- From Caen: Take the A13 to the A29, which will lead you to the Pont de Normandie.
- From Cherbourg: Take the N13 to Caen, then follow the ring road to the A13 and A29 to the Pont de Normandie.
- From St Malo: Take the D4 to Dol de Bretagne, then the N176 to N175 to the A84 motorway. Continue on the N175 to Caen, then take the ring road to the A13 and A29 to the Pont de Normandie.
- From Roscoff: Take the D58 to the N12, then the N176, following the same route as from St Malo.
Directions from Paris: Leave the Paris ring road by taking the A13, and exit at junction 28. Take the N175 towards St Maclou, then before reaching St Maclou, take the N178 towards pont de Tancarville. From there, take the D312 towards conteville and Berville. The cottages are located just before the Church in Berville sur Mer.
Local Directions from the Pont de Normandie Exit: Take the D580 (direction Pont Audemer), and after approximately 1 mile, turn left at the roundabout onto D312. This road will lead you to Berville sur Mer. Ferme du Chalet is signposted to the left just before you enter the village. If you miss the sign, you can also take the first left after the village entrance sign. The residence is 500m down the road, immediately before and to the right of the church.
Directions from Beauvais airport: Upon leaving the airport, head towards Beauvais and take the N31 west towards Rouen. Continue through Rouen, heading for the A13 motorway. Take the motorway westbound towards Honfleur and Deauville. Exit at junction 28, then follow the same directions as from Paris. The cottages are located just before the Church in Berville sur Mer.
