This is a description of a charming 15th century rural house located in the valley of the Besbre - Sologne Bourbonnaise. It showcases the typical architecture of the area, complete with a traditional bread oven and fireplace. The walls are constructed using wooden beams filled with a mixture of mud and straw, resting on a sturdy stonewall plinth.The house also features a newer masonry building that serves as the ensuite bathroom sheepfold. This addition provides modern comfort while still maintaining the traditional aesthetic of the property. With four single beds, the house can comfortably accommodate up to four people.
Nestled just 300 meters away is the Sculpture Park Erich Engelbrecht, known as the Château des Fougis. This park offers a captivating collection of sculptures and is a must-visit attraction for guests. The best part? Entry to the sculpture park is completely free for our guests.
Overall, this rural house has been lovingly restored by local craftsmen using traditional techniques, ensuring an authentic and charming experience for visitors.

Details and Amenities:On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with a fireplace and a traditional bread oven. The spacious kitchen has a dining area for you to enjoy meals together.
Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two single beds and a mezzanine area with two single beds. The twin beds can be combined to create double beds both in the bedroom and mezzanine.
The bathroom is located in a separate building, accessible only from the outside (please refer to the photos).
Outside, there is a large lawn area perfect for relaxation, and a massive wooden table for outdoor dining. You can truly unwind and disconnect as there is no TV or internet connection available. Instead, take this opportunity to indulge in some beautiful reading during your holiday.
Parking is available within the property, and you can also enjoy playing tennis and table tennis. Additionally, there is a private pond on the premises, open for swimming. Various hiking trails, canoeing, karting, quad biking, and other sports activities can be found nearby.
A weekly set of towels and bed linen is included in the price.

- Between October and April, there is a supplement for electricity based on actual consumption (measured by the power meter from ERDF).
- Cleaning fee: 50,00 EUR
- Tourist tax: 0.60 EUR per person, per night.
