Description for B&B:
La Croix du Reh has a rich history dating back to 1620 when it was first established as an inn in the charming village of Chateauneuf-la-Foret in Haute Vienne, Limousin. Originally commissioned by French King Henry IV, the inn has undergone various transformations over the years. Today, it has returned to its roots as a chambres d'hôtes, offering a warm and welcoming shelter for travelers.During the summer, dining at our bed and breakfast often takes place in the garden, providing a delightful atmosphere. Upon request, we also offer evening meals. Whether it's summer or winter, guests can find comfort in our Salon, featuring original oak beams and a large open log fireplace.
Our bed and breakfast in Limousin provides a wonderful alternative to self-catering gites or traditional hotels. As our home, it offers the genuine hospitality and warmth of a traditional French bed and breakfast. In the winter months, the cozy ambiance of the Salon, especially with snow-covered surroundings, is particularly inviting. For a carefree Christmas or New Year break, consider staying at our bed and breakfast and check our website for special offers.
We have five en-suite bedrooms with varying capacities to accommodate different group sizes. The Rose Room can accommodate 2-3 people, the Blue Room is ideal for 1-2 people, the Gold Room can accommodate 2-3 people, the Yellow Family Suite is perfect for 2-5 people, and the Lavender Family Room can also accommodate 2-5 people. Baby cots can be provided for each bedroom. All of our rooms are equipped with en-suite baths and/or showers, clock-radios, and coffee/tea-making facilities.
We are open year-round and strive to meet all of your expectations for a traditional holiday accommodation experience in France.
