Located in a charming stone hamlet overlooking a peaceful green valley, our accommodation offers a tranquil escape while still being just minutes away from the vibrant historic village of St Jean-de-Côle, with its lively restaurant scene. For those seeking more adventure, the medieval town of Brantôme is also nearby and is considered one of the top attractions in the Dordogne region. If you're traveling from the UK, our location is conveniently less than an hour's drive from Limoges airport, which offers connections to many destinations. Bergerac airport is about 85km away, and Bordeaux is 100km away, providing additional options for travel. Car rental is easily accessible from all of these airports.
Our house is filled with natural light and spaciousness, and it is tastefully furnished with a blend of French and English antiques, creating a charming country-house ambiance. Each of our two large bedrooms can accommodate up to four people and includes a private shower room and WC.
The two acres of gardens surrounding our property feature a delightful Mediterranean-style courtyard with shaded terraced seating. Towards the rear, you will find extensive stone terraces, lush lawned gardens, a large swimming pool, and a sun terrace. From our garden, you can enjoy sweeping views of the valley.
We offer year-round accommodations at a tariff ranging from 50 to 80 Euros per room, depending on the number of occupants and the season. Payment is to be made in Euros cash at the end of your stay.
Situated in the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne, we are just a few kilometers away from the Limousin National Park and in close proximity to various tourist attractions. Some notable highlights include the historic town of Brantôme, known for its Abbey and extensive waterways, the magnificent Chateau of Puyguilhem, and the captivating caves at Villars. We also highly recommend visiting the Chateau at Bourdeilles, which features a historic tower, as well as exploring the cathedral city of Perigueux.
This area offers a range of activities, such as walking, cycling, canoeing, and fishing. Alternatively, you can simply relax by the pool and enjoy the serenity of our surroundings.
