The accommodation is located in a private courtyard with a designated parking area. Each Gite has its own private garden equipped with an outdoor BBQ, dining area, and garden furniture. The swimming pool is spacious and features a paddling pool (25msq) with a 40cm depth that flows into a larger pool (75msq). The larger pool has a shallow end of 1m and a deep end of 2m. The pool is positioned on the edge of the Adour valley, providing breathtaking views of the mountains. The property also includes an ancient chapel, moat, and woodlands for guests to explore. This serene and expansive setting offers an ideal space to recharge amidst stunning views of the Pyrenees mountains and the Gascon countryside. Le Prielle is conveniently located in the heart of Gascony, offering a wide range of opportunities for holidaymakers. Visitors can easily access the market towns of Plaisance du Gers, Vic en Bigorre, Maubourguet, and Aire sur l'Adour, where they can find high-quality regional produce. Gite 1 - Le Chai:
Featuring three bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, Le Chai provides a spacious retreat. With a total area of approximately 110 square meters (1200 square feet), this Gite can be combined with La Grange through an adjoining door to accommodate larger groups of 10+ people. It's the perfect choice for two families or large groups looking to enjoy a holiday together.
Gite 2 - La Grange:
With two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, La Grange offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Spanning approximately 110 square meters (1200 square feet), this Gite can also be connected to Le Chai through an adjoining door, accommodating 10+ people. It's an excellent option for two families or large groups seeking a joint holiday experience.
Gite 3 - Le Hibou:
Boasting three bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, Le Hibou provides a generous living space of approximately 110 square meters (1200 square feet). This Gite offers plenty of room for additional beds if needed, ensuring everyone can relax comfortably.
Gite 4 - Le Pigionaire:
Featuring three bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge, a separate fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area, Le Pigionaire is a versatile Gite suitable for both summer and winter holidays. Complete with a log-burning stove, this Gite creates a warm and inviting ambiance for your stay.

The nearest village, MADIRAN, is located 3km away. Here, you can find a Boulangerie, Epicerie, Post Office, wine shop & wine centre, Restaurant, Bar, Tennis Courts, Sports Hall, Children's Playground, Football and Volleyball Pitch. The towns of Plaisance du Gers and Maubourguet are both located 10km away and offer major facilities. Tarbes (30km) and Pau (40km) are administrative centers with a wide variety of shopping, leisure facilities, arts, and historical centers. Additionally, Tarbes is home to the oldest Golf Course in Europe. Locally, there are various activities available such as wine tasting, golf, mini-golf, fishing, water skiing, canoeing, and horse riding. The surrounding area offers beautiful walks and cycle rides, with a range of routes from 3km to 65km, passing through vineyards, pretty villages, and Chateaux. The Gites also serve as a great base for exploring the Pyrenees, which is ideal for both walkers and cyclists.
Fetes:
Below, we have listed a few local fetes that we highly recommend attending:
- Madiran: On 14th and 15th August, the Fete du Vin takes place. Local producers offer free tastings of their wines and foods, while music and meals are available over a period of 4 days. In November, the Portes ouverts event allows all producers to open their Chais for tasting and purchasing before Christmas.
- Plaisance du Gers: In July, a huge street fete takes place, including course landaise.
- Maubourguet: In August, there is a massive street fete that lasts for 4 days and includes bullfighting and course landaise.
- Marciac: This town hosts an International Jazz festival for 2 weeks, featuring music, stalls, and food from around the world.

By car:
From Bordeaux: Take the A62 to Junction 3 Langon. From Langon, follow the main D932 to Roquefort, then take the D934 towards Aire Sur lAdour. Once at Aire Sur lAdour, take the D935 towards Tarbes. Approximately 10 km south of Riscle on the D935, you will see Chateau Montus on your right. Take the first right onto the D58 and continue past Chateau Perron to the top of the hill. At the first crossroads after Chateau Perron, turn left and follow the crest of the hill towards the mountains. After about 2km, take the third left onto Chemin de Qulay. Follow Chemin de Qulay until the road forks to the left, and then follow the road to the left onto Chemin de Prielle. Le Prielle, the property, is the only one in the middle of the vineyards on the right.
From Tarbes: Follow the main road D935 from Tarbes towards Bordeaux. Approximately 10 km north of Maubourguet, and signposted to Madiran, turn left onto the D48. Pass Chateau Hechac and continue to the restaurant "La Colline." Take the right facing the restaurant towards Soublecause and Castelneau Riviere-Basse. Take the third right at the second small crossroads onto Chemin de Qulay. At the fork, turn left onto Chemin de Prielle. Le Prielle is the only property in the middle of the vineyards on the right.
From Pau: Take the N134 north out of Pau for approximately 30 km until you reach Garlin. At Garlin, turn right and follow the road into the village until you reach a mini roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and follow the D16 towards a T-junction at Diusse. Turn left and then take the first right, following the signs to Madiran, onto the D205. Continue on the D205 and then the D317 towards Aydie, and then take the D548 until you reach a T-junction with the D48. Turn right towards Madiran. Drive through Madiran and take the first left after passing the sports hall onto Chemin de Qulay. Follow the road until you reach the top of the hill where the road bears right. Continue on the road until you reach a crossroads. Go straight on at the crossroads and continue on Chemin de Qulay until the road forks left onto Chemin de Prielle. Le Prielle is approximately 500 meters along Chemin de Prielle and is the only property in the middle of the vineyards on the right.
