Welcome to La Demeure des détectives, your charming Bed & Breakfast located in the village of Trainou, near Orleans! Situated just a few meters away from the enchanting forest of Orleans, our guest house is perfectly positioned to explore a variety of attractions and activities, including the renowned castles of the Loire and the magnificent Cathedral of Orleans. Whether you enjoy hiking, golf, water sports, horseback riding, or even karting, there is something for everyone!At La Demeure des détectives, we strive to offer more than just a place to rest your head. With the capacity to accommodate up to 14 guests, each of our four guest rooms has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated to transport you to a different era and location, immersing you in the captivating world of an iconic detective. From the romantic allure of Italy to the imperial grandeur of China, from the Victorian charm of England to the modern elegance of Sweden, our charming guest rooms are sure to enchant you.
Our Bed & Breakfast is not only a place to stay, but also a vibrant living space, brimming with a multitude of activities. In addition to your tranquil, bright, and spacious room, you will have access to nearly 150m² of communal areas, as well as over one hectare of lush gardens. Whether you prefer indoor entertainment such as billiards, piano, board games, card games, or books, or outdoor pursuits like table tennis, French Petanque, Finnish Mölkky, or various ball and racket games, we guarantee that boredom will be a thing of the past! To enhance your experience and allow you to savor the abundance of fruits and vegetables grown in our garden, we also offer a delightful dining experience at our host table.

By road:
From Orléans (25 min): Take the Tangential East and exit at Chécy. Turn left towards Neuville aux Bois, continuing until Traînou.
From Paris (1h30): Take A6B and then N20 to Etampes. Continue on D721 and D921 to Pithiviers. From there, take Loury and join D2152, following signs to Traînou.
From central Traînou (2 min): Take rue du Gros Baril. At the end, turn left onto Rue de la Carrière and right onto Laurendière street. After passing the "Traînou" sign, turn right onto des Puiseaux.
By train: The nearest station is Orleans - Aubrais. From there, it is a 25-minute drive, 35 minutes by bus, or 1 hour by bike.
By bus: Take line 16 "Orleans - Ingrannes" until the Traînou Stadium stop or the College Traînou stop. Bus timetables can be found on the ulys-loiret.com website. If requested, we can arrange to pick you up from the bus stop, which is 1km away from the guest house.
