Description for B&B:

Welcome to our charming Bed & Breakfast in the Lot department of France, where you will be greeted with warmth and hospitality. Situated just a few kilometers away from the picturesque town of St. Céré, our house is nestled in the hills, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and abundant wildlife.

Originally a farmhouse passed down through generations, our home has been newly refurbished to provide comfortable en-suite bedrooms, perfect for a relaxing stay. Our dining experience is truly special, with Alex's evening dinners receiving rave reviews from our guests. Using locally sourced seasonal produce, including creative vegetarian options, these delicious meals are available most evenings by reservation. In fact, our vegetarian menu was recognized by the Guardian Newspaper Travel Website, naming us one of the top "veggie friendly" Bed & Breakfasts. One guest even praised our lemon tart, claiming it rivals those found in patisseries!

Beyond our cozy retreat, there is a wealth of medieval villages and towns waiting to be explored. The surrounding countryside offers endless opportunities for walkers and nature enthusiasts, making it a true paradise. For those seeking adventure, activities like horse-riding, canoeing on the river Dordogne, and cycling are available both on and off-road. When the weather gets hot, a visit to the nearby Lac du Tolerme is a must. This large freshwater lake, with its stunning surroundings and on-site restaurant, is perfect for a refreshing swim.

Within easy reach, you can discover the enchanting "Les Plus Beaux Villages De France" such as Autoire, Cardaillac, Carennac, Turenne, and Loubressac. Be sure not to miss the charming riverside of Beaulieu sur Dordogne or the awe-inspiring village of Rocamadour, the second most visited site in France. Figeac, with its medieval center and vibrant weekly market, is also a must-see. Additionally, the region is home to fascinating cave systems, including the renowned Gouffre de Padirac, as well as a top-tier birds of prey center. With numerous local fetes and festivals, the Lot department offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday.

We look forward to welcoming you to our B&B, where you can experience the beauty and charm of the Lot department while enjoying a comfortable and relaxing stay.
