Description:

Description for B&B:

Located near the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park and just an hour away from the gorges of Ardeche and the Chauvet cave, the Little Convent of the Benedictines was built in 1346 at the behest of Lord Bermond of Anduze. Situated at the outskirts of Chomérac in the heart of the fertile Payre valley, this charming establishment is nestled between the mountains and the basaltic Coiron Grads limestone, offering numerous trails for exploration with the assistance of the owners. The village itself embodies the typical style of the Ardèche region, closer to the Rhone Valley. Nearby attractions include the hamlet of Taverna, the quaint Romanesque church of St-Martin-le-Supérieur, the Lavezon Valley, and the captivating villages of Meysse and Saint-Vincent-du-Barres.

Your stay at the Little Convent or its annexes, which are located 800m from the village center and shops, will be enhanced by the artistic creations of the owners – an actress and artist, along with her doctor and sculptor partner. The accommodation offers comfortable double rooms with private bathrooms and toilets, ensuring a refined and peaceful experience. A generous breakfast is included, and there is an option for dinner at an additional cost of 25 per person.

For relaxation and leisure, guests can enjoy the heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, which can be booked for individual use. Towards the east, there is a 25 m² room located above the pool in the annexes. It features a large bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and overlooks the tranquil gardens. In the central area, also above the pool, there is a 45 m² room with vaulted ceilings that offers a large bed and seating area. This room has the option of accommodating two additional beds for an extra charge. It is equipped with a bathroom including a shower and toilet.

Within the convent itself, on the upper floor, there is a charming 15 m² vaulted room with a large bed and an attached bathroom (shower and toilet) overlooking the inner courtyard. Free parking is available in the garden, but there is also the option of securing a closed garage at an additional cost.

Appréciations pour Le Petit Couvent, Chomérac:

Un séjour très agréable
Review by: Jean-Pierre Cattelain, Mai 24 2024 1:01PM
