Welcome to our charming cottage! This accommodation offers a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a large living room with a cozy lounge area, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom features a refreshing shower, and there is a separate toilet for convenience.The cottage boasts two lovely terraces, one facing south and the other facing west, both elevated on stilts. Situated on the lower level of a carefully renovated old water mill, this accommodation offers a unique and picturesque natural setting. The owner has thoughtfully provided a relaxing space in the garden for guests to enjoy the lush green surroundings.
You can conveniently park your car near the house, ensuring easy access. Despite being in a peaceful natural environment, you will be pleasantly surprised by the proximity to the center of our small town, which is only a 5-minute walk away. Here, you will find a variety of shops to meet your needs.
The town is also home to a beautiful lake, which serves as a reservoir for a series of historic tanneries, including ours. Guests can indulge in water recreation, fishing, and swimming in the 25-meter pool. Additionally, there are hiking trails that start right in front of the house, allowing you to explore the stunning surroundings at your leisure.

Directions to the Triskel Bertaud Eco-Cottage:
- Located between Rennes-Nantes (N137) and Vitre-Redon.
- 20 minutes from the southern entrance to Rennes (30 kms).
- 50 minutes from the northern entrance to Nantes (75 kms) and Vitre (55 kms).
- 40 minutes from Redon and La Gacilly (40 kms).
- 1 hour from Saint-Malo (100 kms).
- 1 hour and 20 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel (120 kms).
To reach the eco-cottage:
- By train: Take the TGV to Rennes (20 minutes) and then the TER to Messac-Guipry (10 minutes).
- By plane: Rennes (Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande) is a 25-minute drive away, while Nantes Atlantique Airport is 55 minutes away.
- By bike or on foot: There are walking paths and MTB/Hybrid routes near the house.
To access the eco-cottage from the town center:
- Take the D3772 in the direction of RERC-EN-LAMEE and pond Bain de Bretagne (east).
- After crossing a bridge (with the pond on your right), take the first left onto Quarries/Bertaud road.
- Continue for a short distance until you see the sign for "Bertaud".
- The eco-lodge will be on your left. Welcome!
