Description for B&B:
An Introduction to our Medieval Maison DauphinEscape the constraints of time and immerse yourself in the rich history of Maison Dauphin. Nestled within the enchanting medieval village of Crozet, this hidden gem offers a unique retreat.
Allow us to introduce our charming abode, where we hope you will have a delightful stay. Dating back to the early 16th century, this characterful house holds a significant place in the heart of the village. Its name pays homage to Bishop Dauphin, a prelate of Pope Leo XIII, who was born in 1806 and laid to rest in the church he had constructed on the ruins of the castle. Prior to the 15th century, it served as a slaughterhouse, reflecting the prosperity of the village during that time. Today, it stands as a splendid example of the architectural style that thrived during the reign of Louis XII. With its granite and yellow limestone facade, the house radiates a warm glow as the summer sun sets.
