The studios are beautifully designed and provide a serene and cozy atmosphere, ideal for short stays of one or two nights, or even longer vacations. As our B&B guests, you can take full advantage of our gardens, swimming pool, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Additionally, we offer the option of enjoying delicious home-cooked meals through our table d’hôte service (advance booking required). Our breakfasts consist of fresh bread and croissants sourced from the local village bakery each morning, accompanied by delightful homemade jams, along with fresh juices, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. We also provide off-street and garage parking facilities, suitable for cars, bicycles, and even the occasional horse!
Description for Gite
Our gite, originally a watermill constructed in the late 18th century, is highly regarded as one of the best in the region in terms of location and amenities. We firmly believe that it should be enjoyed and not left empty, which is why we have personally lived in it and paid meticulous attention to every detail. With its spacious kitchen, bathroom, living room (featuring a cozy alcove bed), separate twin bedroom, and breathtaking grenier occupying the entire top floor, our gite offers unparalleled flexibility, comfortably accommodating two people, families, or groups of up to six. Staying here will make you feel as if you are in a luxurious and grand setting, without the exorbitant price tag. It is truly difficult to tear yourself away from this enchanting place.
Adding to the allure of the indoor space is a terrace that overlooks the expansive two-acre gardens, nature reserve, streams, and surrounding fields. This serene setting is perfect for observing the abundant bird and wildlife, while enjoying a refreshing cold beer or a glass of rosé. It is also an ideal spot for parents to relax while their children play in the garden. The calming presence of the old millstream gently flowing around the gite provides a soothing acoustic backdrop, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep.
There is an abundance of activities to engage in within the immediate vicinity, including kayaking, yoga, fishing, walking, and cycling. The list is extensive and ever-changing, so we recommend visiting our website or contacting us directly for the most up-to-date information. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the addition of a large children's playground on the mill island, complete with swings, a slide, a climbing tower, and a rope ladder, which will be available starting in 2015.
