Directions

"Les Bouffards" is situated in the heart of the Sologne forest, between Orléans and Bourges. If you are coming from the A71 highway towards Orléans / Clermont-Ferrand, take exit n°3 Lamotte-Beuvron. Upon exiting the highway, turn right and head towards Lamotte. At the second roundabout on the main road N20, turn right towards Bourges/Vierzon. After 500m, make a left turn towards Brinon sur Sauldre/Aubigny onto road D923. Continue for 8km until you see a sign indicating "Département du Cher". Keep going straight for another 2 km. You will reach a milestone marked as n°2, located at the end of a long straight road just before a left curve. On the left side, you will find an earth lane with a signpost pointing towards "Les Bouffards" 1.5km away. Cross over the Sauldre canal and take a left turn before a small pond where wild ducks and herons can be seen. Pass by a guard house and a large old restored farm on your right, and continue straight until you reach a gate facing the lane. Drive through the gate and proceed to the Castle on your right. The coordinates for GPS navigation are 47°566 North - 2°145 East.
