The city of Jonzac Montendre is conveniently located near historical sites and sandy beaches. Both cities offer a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. In addition, the beautiful beaches of Royan, St George Didonne, and Angouleme are less than an hour away, along with the historic cities of Cognac, Saintes, Pons, Meschers, Talmont, Royan, and Bordeaux.At Domaine, we welcome you for all occasions, whether it be a family reunion, stage performance, party, birthday, or wedding. Our village hall is available for your use, providing the perfect opportunity for gatherings and socializing.
Sunflowers Cottage is a spacious accommodation that can comfortably accommodate 12 or more people. This renovated hostelry features a large living room with a TV and DVD player, as well as a cozy fireplace for winter evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. There are four bedrooms, one on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The cottage also includes a large bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground floor, a bathroom with a bath on the first floor, and two toilets. Other amenities include a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The price per week varies depending on the season, with rates ranging from low to high.
Le Petit Chai Cottage is another charming option that can accommodate 5 to 6 people. This converted wine store features a comfortable living room with a TV, DVD player, and fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with three single beds. An extra bed is also available in the living room. The cottage includes a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a toilet, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The price per week varies depending on the season.
In addition to our cottages, we also offer two charming guest rooms called Clelia and Le Boudoir. Both rooms are located on the first floor of the main house. If you're interested, we also offer a host table on reservation, where you can enjoy delicious meals made with fresh ingredients from our garden.
During your stay, you will have free access to our garden, as well as our fenced-off swimming pool measuring 12 meters by 6. We also have an indoor games room with table tennis, darts, pinball, billiards, and fitness equipment. Outdoor activities include a badminton court and various games for children. Bikes for adults and children are available for your use, as well as golf clubs if you wish to play golf in Montendre. The nearby tennis court and boules are also free to access. For those interested in fishing, hiking, visiting the lake, or enjoying a kayak cure spa, these activities are conveniently located on the edge of our site.
We are also pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends along to enjoy your stay in our cottages.

Chaunac is situated approximately 10 km from Jonzac Montendre, 60 km from Angoulême, and 50 km from Bordeaux (a 40-minute drive).
By car:
To reach Chaunac from Bordeaux, take the A10 towards Paris and exit at 39B (Angoulême). Continue on the RN10 and take the Montlieu-La-Garde exit, following signs for Montendre. From Paris, take the A10 towards Poitiers South, then take the RN10 towards Angoulême. Exit at Montlieu-La-Garde and follow signs for Montendre. If coming from the west, exit at 37 on the A10 (Mirambeau) and follow the D730 towards Montendre.
By train:
The nearest train station is Montendre, which is 10 km away. Alternatively, you can take the Atlantic TGV to Bordeaux or Angoulême and arrange car hire. There is also the option to reach Jonzac or Montendre by TER.
By plane:
Bordeaux-Merignac Airport is located 55 km away (a 45-minute drive).
