Description for B&B:

Welcome to Grosio and B&B Villa Verde! Located in the beautiful Valtellina region, our B&B is just 15 km from Tirano and 25 km from Bormio.

At Villa Verde, you'll find three newly renovated bedrooms on the second floor, each with their own en suite bathroom. Additionally, there is a spacious open area with a mezzanine level that serves as the combined living and dining room for breakfast.

Our garden features a charming small pond with goldfish and aquatic plants, adding to the beauty of the surroundings. For outdoor relaxation, we have a covered terrace that is perfect for enjoying breakfast, relaxing, or engaging in conversation.

Parking is available next to the house, and we also offer a garage for bikes.

Why choose Grosio for your holiday?

- Grosio is centrally located, making it easy to reach popular tourist destinations such as Bormio, Livigno, S. Caterina, Aprica, Teglio, and St. Moritz. It is also strategically positioned for accessing historical cycling routes like the Mortirolo or Passo Foppa, Gavia, Stelvio, Bernina, Aprica, and Verva.

- The location is situated midway between Bormio and Tirano, allowing you to reach ski slopes, ice-skating rinks, thermal bathing pools, and the famous ancient Roman thermal baths within just 15 minutes. You can also visit Tirano in 10 minutes and catch the red train of the Bernina Pass, taking you directly to Saint Moritz with stunning views along the way.

- Grosio holds great historical and cultural significance in the Valtellina region due to its antiquity and anthropological history.

- The surrounding mountain regions, including Valgrosina, Valdidentro, and Alpi Orobiche, offer unparalleled natural beauty and opportunities for hiking, mountain climbing, and biking. The Mortirolo Pass is particularly popular, providing a pristine atmosphere and fulfilling experiences for outdoor enthusiasts.

- In Grosio, you can explore the park of rock carvings, which includes evidence of continuous habitation since prehistoric times. The "Rupe Magna" is the largest example of rock carving in the alpine area. Entry to the park is free, but we recommend a guided tour to fully appreciate its history. The Villa Visconti Venosta is also worth a visit, as it houses a museum and library surrounded by a large park with a well-equipped playground for children. Lastly, Grosio boasts a museum showcasing costumes and uniforms from the Great War, as well as the beautiful churches of San Giorgio and San Giuseppe.

Description for Gite

The house stands out with its distinctive location on the left side of the entrance road to Tirano, connecting it to the Bormio road. It is a picturesque haven surrounded by lush greenery, enhanced by a charming hand-painted sign that immediately captures your attention.
This villa is spread across three floors. The ground floor and first floor are dedicated for everyday use, accommodating both day and night activities. The second floor, with its three bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a spacious living room and kitchen that includes a loft, is exclusively reserved for guests of the B&B.
