Description for B&B:

Gite Mont Joly is conveniently located just off the main road into Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, offering a sunny and picturesque setting. Our charming gite is only 800m away from the village center, surrounded by beautiful woodland on one side and breathtaking mountain views on the other three sides. Whether you are looking for a short break or a longer holiday, our gite is the perfect choice. We can accommodate up to 15 guests in comfortable rooms for 2, 4, or 6-7 people.

For a small fee of 7€ per person (children under 5 are free), we can provide a delicious breakfast, and a packed lunch is also available for the same price, both of which are optional.

Our guests can enjoy socializing with other holidaymakers in our spacious dining room and cozy snug area, or relax on the sunny patio. The communal kitchen is well-equipped, including essential kitchen supplies such as herbs, spices, oil, cling film, etc. We also have raclette equipment available, as well as barbecues on the patio.

Upon request, guests have access to a washing machine and dryer. In addition, we offer a ski locker in the basement (bike locker in the summer) and ample private parking outside. We are also happy to provide baby essentials such as a cot, high chair, play mat, and musical chair, as well as children's toys upon request.

Saint Gervais is a charming and friendly French town with numerous attractions nearby. Notable highlights include the Tramway du Mont Blanc, which departs from the village and takes you up to an altitude of 2380m, the hot springs at Les Thermes in nearby Le Fayet (a 15-minute walk through the woods from the gite), and the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, which is only 1.5km from the gite and is the fourth largest in France. Additionally, the village offers a brand new swimming pool, an ice rink during the winter, and various picturesque walks starting from the village or in the nearby nature reserve of Les Contamines.

Description for Gite

You have the opportunity to rent the entire gite, which can accommodate 15 guests in summer and 22 guests in winter, all year round. Except during the peak winter holidays such as Christmas, New Year, and the February/March school holidays, when the changeover day is on Saturday, you have the flexibility to rent our gite for less than 7 days. Just like our Chambres dhotes, the price of the rental includes all bedding.

Directions

If traveling by car or motorbike from Geneva, head towards the Autoroute Blanche and continue until you reach Saint-Gervais-le Fayet. From there, follow the signs to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. As you approach the village, you will pass by the restaurant, Le Four, on a hairpin bend. Our building is located right after Le Four.

If traveling by car or motorbike from Megève, drive through Saint Gervais and go under the Tramway du Mont Blanc bridge. Our location is just 200m ahead on the right-hand side.

For those traveling by train, the nearest station is Le Fayet. If you request it, we can arrange to pick up small groups from the station.

If traveling by air, the nearest airport is Geneva. We recommend renting a car, but if that is not possible, there are several companies in the region that offer transfer services, which can be arranged.
