Located in the Pyrénées-Orientales, the Domaine de Coussères is situated in a unique and peaceful setting: the ancient Occitan bastide overlooks a Mediterranean landscape of cliffs, garrigues, and vineyards, where absolute calm reigns.
The proximity to the Gorges de Galamus and numerous Cathar castles adds a grandiose and historical touch to the guests' stay.
Nature, silence, and comfort are its strengths.
The rooms are very quiet and spacious, averaging 30 m2, and naturally cool (north-facing, very thick walls). The beds are large, and the bedding is of great quality. Each room has a sitting area, a bathroom, and private toilets. Two rooms can accommodate a third person. The family suite consists of two rooms, each with a bathroom and toilet. It is ideal for hosting parents with their children. The rooms are cleaned daily.
Guests also have access to a dining room, a large living room, a library, and a winter garden.

The estate is adorned with a large wooded garden with resting benches, a solarium, a boulodrome, and numerous terraces with breathtaking views of a wild and preserved landscape, consisting of hills with evergreen oaks and cypresses, vineyards, and all the Mediterranean flora and fauna.
The swimming pool is south-facing and also offers superb views of the surroundings.

The region offers a great diversity of landscapes and tourist sites: old villages and Romanesque abbeys, the foothills of the Pyrenees, several Cathar castles including Peyreperthuse and Quéribus, the Mediterranean with Collioure, the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Tautavel Prehistory Museum, the Gorges de Galamus, not to mention the wine cellars.
There is also access to numerous sports activities, walks, and hikes.
